Figma just released their new plugin system out of beta, and I had a chance to play around with some of the plugins for a bit last night (at 3am).

In the video above, I do a quick demo of the few that caught my eye.

In case you’re not familiar with Figma, it’s an amazing design tool to help you create beautiful user interfaces.

I actually used it to fully design this site before developing it in Oxygen.

You can also use it to design just about any graphical asset for that matter. I’ve used it for social share images, CTA designs, logos, popups etc.

With their intuitive UI and styling functionality, I think it’s improved my workflow quite a bit.

I’m really looking forward to the functionality that these plugins will bring, especially as they mature further.

It’s not difficult to see how they could make Figma twice the tool that it is today – even as impressive as it already is.

Hope you enjoy the video and thanks for reading!
